We take great pride in our history and roots, also in the fact that we have not left any of our clients with worthless guarantees, in spite of the internal changes or external forces which we, like so many other companies, have suffered over the past years.
TRC (Midlands) can trace its roots back to 1897 when a Mr Turner invented the Turnerised Process and formed a company known as Turnerised Roofing Inc in the USA.
In 1925 the process was introduced into the UK and applied exclusively by Turnerised Roofing Co (Great Britain) Ltd operating on a nationwide basis.
In the mid 1930’s a factory was established in Glasgow to manufacture the products and the Company grew from strength to strength.
Several changes occurred to the structure of the Company through the years to accommodate market forces. It was that flexibility which allowed the Company to survive the many recessions and depressions it has been through.
The last of these changes occurred in 1991 when, after a Board decision, the various parts of the company were demerged.
From that change TRC (Midlands) Ltd was born. This Company took over all the guarantees within the areas it now operates and continued to offer the same services as before with no disruption, lack of continuity or adverse effects to any of our many valued Clients, some of which have been on the journey with us.
